It's a first... eye primer that's not a "universal shade" or a white mysterious goop that sometimes burns your eyelids (I'm talking to you UD eye primer potion). Finally KVD has brought us what we have been asking for! Shades for a more perfect match and a simple application - an easy to use twist stick.
I was weary at first but ALAS! Kat pulled through again. I read a few depressing reviews on bad pigmentation and spreading of the product... I learned myself that the product DOES need to be warmed up a bit. It goes on surprisingly thin in product quantity which threw me off on application but the color correcting is undeniable. It's not heavy, pulling down your lid, and it's certainly not a weird "universal color" that I always ended up trying to smoosh neutral base eyeshadow on to cover. The key is to work ONE EYE at a time! It dries quickly so you can work with your shadows quickly. Shadows blend beautifully - better than her $15 high voltage eye primer I was using before (weird color and thick!). I've been using the stick for about two weeks now - took some getting used to but a definite thumbs up.
I use the $25 shade "light" and it works well on my untanned olive skin now. Probably will switch to medium during the summer. All in all 4/5 stars. Loses a star for the price. However, who knows how long this will last compared to high voltage. This will be my go-to primer until something better comes along!
